Mercado da Romeira is the new cool area of the South Bank, in an old industrial area of Almada, which has now been renovated and is full of bars and restaurants, all different.
The dynamism that the industrial area of Almada already had, before being abandoned, now regains it again, with the arrival of the Mercado da Romeira. The flavors of the 14 food court spaces in Almadense are tasted inside the old factory, which has since been restored, with high ceilings and dark wooden running tables.
When visiting, we feel the taste and adventure of discovery once again, of the true novelty, as we felt, for some time now, when visiting for the first time so many spaces like this one in Lisbon or Porto that, meanwhile, are already part of the itineraries everyone's places, as if they were always there.
