Regarding food, Almada has wonderful restaurants with delicious food for all tastes. For service, you have to pick up your own food and find your own table. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired; it could be more lively and have music, even if it's just background music when there's no live music. This would greatly help the place to be more lively, pleasant, and upbeat.
Ver MaisOne Saturday night, we decided to "take a trip" to the south bank of the Tagus River. The only thing we knew was that we wanted to have dinner in Almada. After some research, my husband stumbled upon Mercado da Romeira and that was it! That's exactly where we went, and we did!! I highly recommend it! Fantastic atmosphere and tranquil setting. We had dinner at Oficina do Petisco. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
